Dr. Catherine Dayhoff, DAOM, Dipl.Ac, LAc has been in practice for over 10 years and specializing in orthopedic dry needling and musculoskeletal focused treatments since 2014.
Catherine received her Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, OR and she received her master degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle Washington. Catherine is licensed to practice in the state of Washington. In 2014, Catherine completed a 60 hour certificate course in Orthopedic Motor Point and Trigger Point Acupuncture from Whitfield Reaves, a leading practitioner and educator in the field of Acupuncture Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. In 2017, Catherine began mentoring under Dr. Anthony Lombardi, author and educator in the Exstore Assessment system that includes functional muscle testing, neurology and motor point acupuncture. In 2019, Catherine became one of Dr. Lombardi's teaching assistants for his seminars and continues to study with him on a regular basis. While in her master program she completed an additional three part Doctoral Pain Management series on Trigger Point Therapy at Bastyr University. She also has the specialties of Women’s Health and Internal Medicine. In 2012 and 2014, Catherine participated in post graduate studies with the highly respected neurology specialist, Dr. Lee-Chen Yr, Master Chinese Herbalist, Acupuncturist and author in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2011, Catherine completed a certificate in Traditional Five Element Acupuncture with Lonny Jarrett, renowned author, teacher and practitioner. Dr. Dayhoff utilizes both Traditional Chinese Medicine and 5 Element theory, allowing her to treat both the physical and emotional aspect of health and well being. Catherine is passionate about her healing path and believes that Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine is a vital and integral part of our healthcare system today. She works in tandem with other medical practitioners to create an integrative healthcare team. She has crafted a gentle approach to healing and offers Acupuncture, dietary, nutrition and herbal therapies based on Chinese Medical theory and diagnosis. She is committed to providing the highest quality care to restore, invigorate, balance and nourish the body deeply. Catherine is an avid hiker, backpacker, mountain biker, paddle boarder and cross country skier. She loves living in the pacific northwest and makes the most of the rainy seasons by getting outdoors.
